Course Description

Hope4Mobility and PPT4ED collaborate to create a family-focused educational series, All About Adapting, aimed at empowering families of children with physical and developmental challenges. Using the expertise and resources of our nonprofit organizations, H4M will provide funding and community promotion while PPT4ED will provide community promotion, therapists and location for family classes to promote inclusivity and participation for children with special needs and fun family based activities. 


Session 1: Adaptive Board Games- Introducing simple strategies to make board games accessible for all family members. Make and take session with all supplies provided.

Program Objectives

Four 1-hour family-based classes, hosted monthly over the course of 4-6 months, to focus on adapting family activities for children with physical involvement. Sessions will be led by physical, occupational, and speech therapists. Each session will be live and open to 20 families maximum and may be repeated by families who are interested.  All supplies will be provided. Sign ups will be on a first come first serve basis.
